Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I was not Eligible to Cliam Payment Protection Insurance quote from T/Cs “ Eligibility, To be eligible for cover you must be, first named on the agreement, over 18 and under 65 at the end of the agreement in employment or self employment andpaying the correct class of National Insurance Contributions” unquote.
I was self-employed and not paying any National Insurance Contributions, as I was exempt as I did not earn enough to do so.
So CLAIM If you were exempt from paying Nat Ins, you were not eligible to Claim PPI.
I have just won 5 claims on this basis and I have got 2 more similar to follow up.
All 5 paid out without any argument.
Quote from a letter from one creditor:-
" Thank you for providing evidence proving you where exept from paying National Insurance contributions at the time the above loan insurance was taken out.
As you would have been ineligible to claim on the insurance because of this, we are refunding the insurance premiums plus interest to your account." Unquote.
My question is Why ?????????????????
Can anyone tell me, not that I'm complaing.
