To cut a long story short, I am at uni living in Leicester and have picked up a few tickets, all of which I have appealed and clearly stated in my appeal letter that they should contact me at my university (Term Time) address!
They have not accepted or rejected my appeals so I would consider the mater in their hands, to make the next move...
A year down the line and next to no correspondence later, I recieve a hand delivered letter off the
bailiffs
demanding £300 for my first ticket alone!
This ticket I recieved whilst unloading my car into a block of student accomodation (ticket issued in 5mins of car seen)! the road has double yellows, with a very wide footpath and also has single stripe kerb line with accompanying sign Mon-Fri restrictions...I recieved the ticket on a Saturday! How can I be ticketed for loading my vehicle in the first place? How can they not contact me with regards to my appeal???
