Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I received a council parking ticketing for failing to display a valid parking ticket back in early November. I made an informal appeal but was turned down.
Now I have received a Notice to Owner. I am going to make representations immediately. I still have the ticket as proof. Does anyone know of any similar cases where a ticket has genuinely detached itself from a windscreen? (due to condensation in my case).
I have had a fine revoked on sending a copy of the valid ticket, but it seems a variable outcome with different authorities, or perhaps the mood of the recipient.
