Does anyone know if credit cards are now being affected by the OFT case?
I had a N1 form in at Burnley Court for a £600-odd claim, I got my aq through the post and filled that in, then 3 weeks later I have just received a letter from the court saying they have stayed the case pending the OFT case outcome.
I was pretty sure credit card weren't subject to this, can anyone advise?
They are not, I had mine stayed by my court. I called the court and they told me to write in, 4 months later, they have sent a letter to Cahoot saying the stay will be lifted in 14 days unless the make a representation. They have until Monday, then as far as I know the court will give directions.
I will wait and see.
