Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I took out a Littlewoods credit card in July 2006. The original application was done online and where it said payment protection i clicked on no (I have a printout of this). However, having sent for the credit agreement, it appears I ticked and signed for purchase of PPI on the form.
I have not worked since 2004, and have a long-standing medical problem which has affected other insurances, so I now realise that the only part of cover that would apply to me would be life cover, if that!
I really don't know why I ticked that box, I suppose I just didn't think about it . Do I have any claim at all? I get so confused over all this.
Can anyone advise as this is costing quite a lot of money at mo until I manage to reduce the balance.
