My girlfriend recently went into the back of another vehicle in rush hour traffic (low speed) and bumped into the car infront. Minimal damage to each vehicle, the odd bumper crack and my girlfriend's bonet slightly bent up.

Basically they are claiming whiplash (soft tissue damage), vehicle damage, misc expenses and something I can't quite remember (don't have letter, think its to do with time).

Is this something which she should have any worry over? Her insurer (Tesco) is investigating the claim fully, and I would imagine this is something all insurer's are aware of and pay for with technology being able to highlight such an injury.

Thanks for any help in advance.

Hi Sam and welcome to CAG.

Should your GF worry about this - NO !

This is why you have insurance and it's down to the insurers to sort it.

If they think it's dodgy, it's up to them to sort and your GF should just give her insurers the info they need. She can voice her opinion, but leave it to the insurers to sort.
