Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
new to the site.
took my wife out for a nice meal last night in London.
Came back to find my car ticketed and clamped-stupid mistake parking on residential only until at 19:30, when controlled hours are until 22:30.
thing is at 20:10, they issue a ticket, and at 20:33 they but a clamp on.
release fee was ticket plus calmp fee.
is it legal to clamp someone within half an hour of issueing a parking ticket, and is it legal that both have to be pain together.
The road traffic act isn't clear on the timing for people who park in residential bays, but if you are in a pay and display area, they can clamp use 15 mins after ticketing and then only if there is no visibile ticket.
Does anyone have any useful advice. It seems a lot of money and an awful cheek for a simple mistake considering a speeding offence on public roads is £60
