Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
i am sorry if i am repeating a question (as i am sure i am) please just move me or send link to relevant thread.
Frederickson Internationals 12 days are now up on my CCA request whats the next step? i am not paying them anything at the mo anyway so do i just wait for them to contact me? if they had CCA would they of contacted me already? any advice would be cool i have looked round and round forum and now my head is spinning
thanks

Robinson way - negotiated deal
Westcot- Negotiated deal
Thames- found them trying to con me, got a deal
Metropolitan- sold me on
pheonix/frederickson- the fight goes on
WAIT until the 12+month expires AND they continue to demand payment, then a report to Trading Standards would be in order as they are chasing an unsubstantiated debt.
hi
what do i do if they contact me? i have asked them not to phone (but i dont think that matters to them anyway) and a report is into TS about it but do i just ignore contact or write back? (if any comes)

Stand your ground and request everything be in writing for the avoidance of doubt and that is ALL you say to them.
Remember to keep a detailed log of all calls as well.
The only thing you require from them is the compliant CCA, until then you have nothing to say to them.
thanks all
just checking and sorry if i sound stupid :o but is it 30 working days or a straight normal world 30 real days?
cheers

hello again.
i have just recieved a letter from frederickson this morning and it says
You have failed to honour your arrangement to repay this debt and your account is now in arrears
Unless payment is recieved within 5 days the arrangement will be terminated and passed to our solicitors Bryan Carter and Co who will be instructed to commence proceedings in the county courtwithout further notice.
if you wish to prevent legal action please telephone us
This is your final warning. you must act now if you wish to avoid legal proceedings
yours sincerely
blah blah blah
now i am not panicking it because i think i know how to act but just need some input to see if i am right
there are a few things wrong here
1. i havent agreed anything they sent me a letter on the same day i CCA'd them saying they would accept the amounts i was previously paying metropolitan. i never agreed to it
and 2. i have CCA'd them so dont need to pay anyways
do i write to them with those details or do i just let it go to Bryan carter and then send a letter to him. i have found a good letter on here you wrote curlyben
any advice would be good
cheers

they are whistling in the wind-no agreement/no debt and that is a complete defence if they try to land you in court.Let them go ahead, but keep a good record of all correspondence for the judge.....
don't forget that after 30 days they are guilty of a CRIMINAL offence, and as such Trading Standards and all other relevant agencies should be bought on board.
