Unhappy bought car two days ago it now wont start

hi i bought a w reg sedona sx desiel from a dealer on sat 9th feb 08 for £3750 of which i paid £1200 cash and the rest went on a credit card it came with a 3 month warranty in which it states it came with a 90 point safety check
full service which im unsure about as oil is black and ive only managed to drive home, mot test yet they gave me the mot test cert it had dated dec 07,
this problem started as soon as i got home i put the key in turn to on position waited for immobiliser light and glow plug light to go out turn the key and then nothing doesnt even attemps to turn over this can happen umpteen times and then it will suddenly start but i cant use it as i could be stranded with my children if it cant be started again the garage is approx 20 miles away from me as i live in a village and reading the terms and conditionsicon recovery and courtesy vehicals are excluded from the warranty i did read this before signing the cash away but did not expect to just get home before a problem arose so how do i get the car to the garage and why should it be at my expense for a tow truck to take the car back after just 2 days, i am with the aa but i have to be two miles away before they will come out to me also they will just tow me to nearest garage, i have phoned the dealer so they have been made aware of whats happened but as it was sunday yesterday they couldnt help me so please can anybody give me advise on maybe what the problem is with the car, my rights, and what i should do

Don't worry about the colour of the oil in a diesel, that wont tell you much as diesels get their oil very black and even when changed, the oil left in the galleries etc will change it black instantly.

As the car will start eventually, ask the seller if he has a loan car for you if you take it there and they cannot diagnose/repair in a short time. You can ask him this without reference to the warranty as it is such a short period from purchase.

Assuming the worse, if he should refuse any of your requests, then tell him you will reject the car and get a chargeback on the payment made through the credit card.

Only take the above action if he should show complete intransigence, it is always nice to keep them on your side and have a friendly relationship with them.
