Thread: Parking ticket received yesterday

Morning all

I received a parking ticket yesterday even though I had bought a ticket.
Silly me, put the ticket upside down on my dashboard, I was in a rush and didn't realise I had done it until I got back to my car and saw the parking fine.
Been charged £30.00 for clearly not displaying a valid ticket. I parked my car at 3.59pm, and the traffic warden clearly saw me buy the ticket and put it in my car. Then I get the fine at 16.04pm, is there anything I can do about this, as I know it was my error, but can I get out of paying this?

was it on street or in a car park?

Was it a council car park? If so, can you scan, clean and post it here so someone can check it.
