    Cool Responce to preliminary approach

    Hello just making you aware of my responce to the preliminary approach letter that i sent to my bank.they have indicated and i quote, all concerns are important to them and welcome oppotinitys to address them..they have also informed me as they are not yet able to answer my concerne fully as they need to look into the matter further that they will contact me again in 10 working days either with a full responce or to update me on the progress they have made . dryzone vs RBSicon

    please advise if you can on my next move ,thnx,

    Ignore that and go in with the lbaicon, unless they only owe you a couple hundred then they might cough up!

    this whole procedure is running on YOUR timetable, if you gave them 14 days to respond, then after 14 days you send your next (lbaicon) letter. they are large enough organisations, and, by now, have received enough refund requests to have systems in place to deal with them. When they send you a letter telling you about a paid DD, unpaid DD, unauthorised OD etc etc, they tell you exactly when they are going to penalise you, and that is when they do. You are doing exactly the same to them with your request.

    Bank of Scotland round 1: £740 + costs settled, still sore over the 8% grrr
    Bank of Scotland round 2: £629 +101.15 interest +£39 costs settled.
