    Question becky v rbs

    Hi all

I had ana ccount with RBSicon it went to defualt got a ccj and now paying them off every month.

last month when i phoned i just asked them for my statemnts and within a couple weeks i had the statements sent to me back dated to 2002 - amazed!!! I didn't send any letter to them or post any cheque for £10

Now I guess that I can claim for any d/debit cheque refusal charges but before I go ahead ................. what do you reckon about the fact that the banks are being looked at for the charges anyway now? a friend of mine had started to go through a company to help her claim her charges but she was told to hang fire and wait to see what the outcome is first ?????????

should I ignore this advice and get adding up now ?

    any advice greatly appreciated x

    Hi Becky,

Its certainly worth getting your preliminary letter in at least so that you are in the system. As part of the fsa waivericon the banks have agreed to waive the limitations where complaints have been made while the claims are on hold.

    All the best

SO TODAY I STARTED TO LOOK AT WHAT I'M CLAIMING FOR !!!

i HAD TWO ACCOUNTS WITH RBSicon - i WAS TOLD THAT WHEN i WAS ISSUED A DEFAULT NOTICE, THE ACCOUNTS WERE SHUT - ONE ACCOUNT I'VE LOOKED AT TODAY - I'M STILL PAYING interesticon ON !!!!!!!!!!!!! AND SOME OF THE CHARGES LISTED IN THE STATEMENTS ARE JUST LISTED AS CHG!!!!!! HOW BADS THAT ? ? ?

SO I'M LISTING ALL THE INTEREST CHARGES ON THE EXCEL ADVANCED SPREADSHEET AND ALSO THE CHARGES/D DEBIT AND CHEQUE CHARGES !

    Hi, Becky.

Sit down and have a coffee.

Here's a list of what you can and what you can't claim.
