"Credit cards are to be withdrawn from 161,000 Egg customers who it believes pose an unacceptably "high risk". The internet bank is writing to 7% of its customers to give them 35 days' notice of the withdrawal.

I am currently with Egg and am currently fighting a debt with a loan company. My feelings are this will come up in Egg's credit check and I will have my card cancelled. If this is the case it will be one more reason for me to consider going bankrupt as I won't have a credit card worth using anymore.
Bankruptcy should be an absolute last resort. Please read as much information about the consequences of going bankrupt before making a decision.
