Thread: Help, how do i get a bankruptcy petition order removed

hi all

thanks to all the wonderful people on CAG i managed to get a bankrupotcy petition stopped, got thrown out at court, connaught did not have the origional agreement after i sent them a cca request

however they applied for bankruptcy is this registered somewhere and how do i get this removed

any advice is much welcomed and appreciated as if i had not found this site i would either be bankrupt now or sat in a IVA for the next 5 years

but is this registered anywere as im sure when i got my confirmation letter from the court it said we had to write somewhere

but with being busy with work at christmas i have misplaced the letter

Petrified....good news about Connaughts !!! I'd be interested to hear what the judge said in your hearing....as for your bankruptcy you will need to send a copy of the court papers to the Credit Reference Agencies (I believe)...either that or the judge ordered them to take off any adverse information on your credit files.....so am I right in saying they threw the petition out at the hearing ?

yes they threw it out at the hearing or should i say some solicitot acting on behalf of connaughts asked the judge to withdraw the petition she did look a little red faced the judge said if the agreement could not be produced it could not be enforced priceless
