Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Were just starting out and im looking for advise. My girlfriend has a loan with RBS, and i believe she has been miss-sold LoanGurad PPI, multiple times.
The initial loan was for £9k in £9540 in 2005
This was extended to 12k in 2006
When she was going to cancel her overdraft, the staff said they could reduce her loan and she should go in... It turns out they were going to extend the loan by another couple of years and the interest rate was higher! We went prepared and i recorded the entire meeting/attempt at selling....
anyway, i believe she has been missold PPI twice. My girlfriend isnt elligable for jobseakers allowance, as she is a foriegn national on a visa, so should could have never used the insurance.
What steps should we take, we have only just found out she had PPI, and we havent even cancelled yet!
i havent listened to the MP3 recording of the 3rd time they tried to sell us a loan, but i think i might have tripped the staff up a couple of times...
ARGH! I need help with the finance side of things, there is an orginal loan and a refinance loan, the second refinance loan, both loans have an "insurance loan", the new one costs ten quid a month before, but the numbers dont seem to add up....
