Basically I have a Barclay Credit Card and was wondering if I apply the same methods as reclaiming bank charges to the Barclay Credit Card??
I have claimed bank charges from Royal Bank of Scotland so I am fairly sure of what I am doing.
The only problem I may have is that I have a debt plan set up with Barclay card - this has been arranged with the Citizens Advice bureau and I just wondered how this may be affected if I go down the route of reclaiming unfair charges - I don't think the amount I am claiming would cover the outstanding balance - but I don't want to risk claiming them then they turn round and say that they will not accept reduced payments from now on in?
Thanks in advance for any assistance you may be able to provide.
Yes, apply the same methods as reclaiming Bank Charges.
Credit cards are only slightly different in their terminology - you aren't claiming for charges for overdraft fees but for credit limits.
