    Default Hfc Ppi

hi all new here so stick with me if im in the wrong place i beleive i was missold PPIicon by hfc i had all the sales tactics used as in i will go and speak to my manager while you think about it etc i also paid of the loan early and never got any refund on the ppi i think i paid the amount in full as i remember being stunned that they still wanted more than the original amount to pay of a loan that i had been paying for nearly 3 years i eventually wrote them out a cheque to clear the balance which they lost and then tried to charge me for the month in which the cheque was received in my opinion these guys are a bunch of cowboys or at least they used to be i did have some discussion with somebody from the fosicon at the time who agreed that they are a nightmare and that HSBCicon should shake them up a bit it is only recently that i have realised that i may be due some money back from hfc and i now intend to start my claim i have tried to read as much info as possible on the forum but may have missed some so ignore any daft questions . 1st question is by the way is there a time limit on ppi as in the 6 yearsicon for bank charges as i believe i took out the loan in 2000 .

As the claims are based on misrepresentations made during, and since the sale, it is possible to argue that any limitation does not apply. Have a good look through the PPIicon stickies.

i was thinking along the lines of this point

11 Your PPIicon was an upfront premium and you repaid the loan early and received no refund

this is what happened basically and i was also unaware that there was also a monthly premium to be paid as well as the original 250 pounds which i specifically remember being told that this one off payment was all the insurance that would be paid it was taken out of the original loan amount i.e they sold me a loan for £3500 of which 2250 was for me 250 was foer the ppi policy i will keep reading for a while any similar ideas or claims would appreciate some more background as well as the stickys of course thanks people !!
