Unhappy lloyds loan and PPI advice please

i had a loan for 1000 for paying off bills from my bank (Lloydsicon) and took out PPI. I was notified approx 28 days later that i was going to be made redundant i continued to make loan and PPI repayments approximately 2 months after my redundancyicon, i then applied for my loan to be paid with the PPI but i was told that they wont pay as i was told i was being made redundant within the 30 day period so would not be covered. Is this correct ? and does it make a difference legally if you take loans out and PPI via online banking. Im just waiting for bailiffsicon at my door on this issue! I did write saying that when they investigate my unlawful bank charges i will work with them to resolve this issue.. haven't heard a thing for months !! Perhaps they owe me more than i owe them!

If you were led to believe the policy would cover you for redundancyicon, and it transpires that it was not, then it was missold. Have a good read through the stickies at the top of the PPIicon forum - you will find a great deal of information.

You say that you are expecting bailiffsicon - without a CCJ they cannot send bailiffsicon, and if they threaten such they are breaking the law. If it is being handled by a debt collectionicon Agency, it may be worth having a look at the DCA forum as well.
