Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi you guys I have a question for. I have seen alot of adverts about claiming tax credit refunds if your child was born between 1985 and 2003. apparently you can claim money for the tax year 2001. Is there any truth in this and can you claim it without going through one of these agencies as they are taking 30% of what you win. Hope this makes sense!!!
I can only find one company ofering this 'service' which indicates that this potential reclaim is not widely known about or the company have got it wrong. They say
People with children born between 1985 and 2003 have only up to 31 January 2008 to claim up to £1500 child tax credit refund. This is tax relief the Revenue failed to pay thousands of parents. If you were the highest earner or only earner in your family between 2001 and 2003 then you may be entitled to a tax refund.
“If your tax code for 2001/02 or 2002/03 does NOT end in H or T then you may be entitled to as much as £1500.”
If this is genuinely claimable, then you do not need a reclaim company to get it. You could claim direcetly to HMRC.
