i have just made a horrible realisation that i submitted my account number with 1 wrong digit to my emplyer..my wages went through before christmas and i didnt think to check my account had been debited. i am getting a payment trace to give to the bank. i know this topic is covered but will i DEFINATLEY get my wages back, nowhere does it explicitly state the legality of this mistake. is it just down to their good will? or will the bank just remove it like i hear about on the threads? what if theyve spent it?
