Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have been contacted recently by Telogram, and capQuest - with demands for in excess of £500 - claiming to be on behalf of RBS.
I had an account with them 10-12 years ago - but when I left Scotland, I wrote to them to close the account.
I spoke to RBS today, and they confirmed for me today that capQuest are working on their behalf.
I have nothing from RBofS for more than 10 years. The person I spoke to there today is going to send me statements for the past 6 years, but couldn't do or tell me anything else.
Can anyone tell me how I can get older information - to see where this has all come from?
