Thread: PPI Fob off

Hi all.
After sucessfully reclaiming all of my bank charges back I logged on to the Martin Lewis website and decided to give the PPI a go as myself and my hubby had both been told to take it by Capital One.

I sent the templates off and worked out how much I'd paid, they just said in their reply (which was quick I must admit) that all people affected had been written to and I wasn't one of them so get lost basically.
Same on the reply to my hubby. I put them away in the cupboard because this was before the televised program had aired and I think it was relatively new then.
This was about 2 months ago, do I have a chance to reply or is that the end of it.

Also we were missold all ''optional'' protectiona on our car finance. We took it out with Online Finance through carcraft but even though the agreement was paid off last year and I got a copy of our original documents out that in timy print it said certain things were option, but we had never been given any options - all boxes for all kinds of different protections and warranties were just ticked by the salesman. I have since totalled these up to come to just over £4,000 - imagine how much this bumped the price of the car up when the apr was 27.9 (another sore point as it was stated at 7.9 on the original tv ad).
Can I try to reclaim any of this???

There is no reason why you can't continue with your claim - have a good read through the stickies you will find plenty of useful information.

Excellent thats good to hear. I havent been on for a while but it's great to see how the site has expanded in just a few months! I've found several articles that interest me.
