Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I was outraged to find a charge of £285 for going overdawn £1.61 for 18 days with Alliance & Leicester. I have had this account for many years without going overdrawn at all with an average balance of 10k plus on a non interest bearing account. On phoning the bank they have noted my complaint but will not refund charges. They state that they are waiting for the result of the first Court case.I am refusing to pay as there are now not sufficient funds to cover their charges.
I am told it is possible to take me to court. What then?
