Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I've discovered the late payments on my credit file have affected my ability to secure a new mortgage however, today I have had a cheque returned to me for mine and my husbands Alliance and Leicester credit cards because I forgot to put the date on!!!, trouble is this cheque was sent almost 2 weeks ago and I am pretty sure the date has now passed when the payment was due, therefore more late payments on my file!!!!
I am really angry that they have taken this long to send the cheque back to me and now I am going to get stung for charges and a report on my file which really can't take much more of a battering!
Is there anything I can do?, why didn't they respond straight away or ring me to alert me to the problem to send a cheque straight away?
