Hi i have just been issued with a parking ticket from NORTHERN PARKING SERVICES in LEEDS, I was parked at my university campus in a disabled bay at about 12 at night just to drop some books off. I returned to my car to find a yellow slip, reading
" WARNING, "IT IS AN OFFENCE FOR ANY PERSON OTHER THAN THE DRIVER TO REMOVE THIS NOTICE"
Apparently i have to £60 pound within 14days and £85 thereatfter and then they pass on my info to dvla etc and then heavies come round.
Seems to me that they are bullying me into paying, do i have a case?
Apprently i cant phone them because they dont do verbal communication, if i want to protest i have to send them a letter along with the full amount.
Thanks very much for quick reply, im fretting because im a skint student, silly mistake to make on my behalf but i was literally 5 mins in an out.
I will look at your e-mail, im thinking of writing a letter, iv been reading other posts, i doubt they have any evidence i was driving the car, im not the registered owner but i have told my girlfriend about it the fine that has been implemented on me.
Any tips on what to put in my letter
