I've sold alot of electrical equipment to company (wont name yet), the equipment was delivered to them 10 days ago. I was told once equipment was checked I would recive a cheque. (usually takes up to 48 hrs according to website)
To date I havent received the cheque.
I e-mailed company last Thurs but still havent received a reply
Where do I stand consumer law wise, and are there any cases I can quote. Not sure under what section to look law wise either.
It will depend on the contract that you have with the company, but payment should be made quite quickly.
Is this a legitimate company and have you done business with them before?
Your first task is to put a reminder in writing to them and the a final demand say about 14 days later. after that, its a letter before action and then off to court.
