Just making some enquiries about SAR's? is that the right term for claiming back unfair bank charges?
I had an account with first direct, a loan, overdraft and acrued quite a few charges before defaulting the account and them closing it.
I was paying a reduced fee with interest frozen but now in the hands of a DCA, the amount is 9.5k, they are getting heavy now so i wrote and told them i requested CCA information and only contact in writing.
Who do i SAR? first direct or the DCA dealing with debt?
Same with Natwest, got stung for fees on my account for going OD and lots of fees for late payments on a 11.5k credit card, do i SAR Natwest?
THe DCA that is dealing with the 11.5k credit card has not been intouch for 12 months as they said don't pay and we will review your account and be intouch.
So do i let sleeping dogs lie and CCA them if they ever get intouch or prompt them for SAR?
