Default CrispDust v Abbey Nat Mortgage

SARicon under DPA sent 19th June 2006 over charges on mortgageicon account, since closed 1995, including some legal fees.
Awaiting repsonse, if any from grAbbey Natural.
Correction that should be 2005!, not 1995

Be interesting to see what happens.

When the Liberals and Conservatives were in opposition they both agreed that banks should pay back high bank charges to customers. Nothing seems to of happened since they came into power as a coalition. PPI insurance has been sorted now they should turn their attention to bank charges and help customers get exorbitant charges refunded.

Well I finally got my SARicon stuff from Abbey today - The letter was dated 20th July! Even Royal Mail don't take 18 days to deliver 2nd class. Spooky that i sent my lbaicon for non compliance today.....
It's from a microfiche and seems to have been pulled without problem - so their micrfiche exceuse is BS.
Some interesting internal emails also included about the number of increased SARicon and transactions/charges request - I'll transcribe some if anyone is interested.

Now I just have to wade htrough all the stuff and also try to translate. They sent a key to transaction codes but they don't really mean much ie what is a "Debit sundry no grace" ??? All i know is it cost me £35!

ooo yes please...... (but I'm very nosey)

Debit Sundry No Grace sounds a bit mean - they do like dressing their penalty charges up to make them look pretty....

    Hi

Would be very interested in the detail from Abbeyicon Mortgages as fully intend to have a go for that once the bank account is settled - or maybe should start now......

Do transcribe if it's not too much trouble

The microfiche detail is large but very confusing, especially as we had two concurrent mortgages, never found out why....
The amount of movment within the account is mind boggling!
But they did send it without procrastinating, other than taking 50 days. Complaint off to IC tommorrow.
I will transcribe if I get the time (wife allowing) or can be bothered to get my scanner working or buy a new one.

    Hi Crisp

Any update on your claim with Abbeyicon ref your mortgageicon claim

I've just sent off my S.A.R - (Subject access requesticon) for 10 years' worth - believe this is accepteble under statute of limitationsicon cos it relates to property - someone correct me if I'm totally wrong

Have 4 years' worth of statements just interested what comes back now

Went into suspended repossession twice during this time so imagine the charges will have racked up

At the mo the running total for the 4 years is £1500 plus a £1000 odd adminicon fee charged when I redeemed my mortgageicon

No I haven't got round to shAbbey yet, to busy on Barclaysicon, Ikano and MBNAicon. I requested a detailed "lay" explanation of the various codes but they just sent back the same meaning less key.
    Doh!

No, just enjoying my Barclaysicon win and dealing with OH's Halifux claim at momo.
I'll dig out emails. It was related to queries over the SARicon/DPA and I suspect may be irrlevant no the microfiche argument (goodness that seems SOOOO long ago) was debunked.
