Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I'm at the LL~YODS TSB, I have been overdraft of 32£ the 10th of october for 16days, then received a letter saying there would be charges applied if a kept on digging the account. I didn't touch the account untill, I was positive again. Now, December, they took 60£ for fees...
I don't understand.
They would camcell the fees, What do I do now?
I offer help and advice in good faith, based on my knowledge and experience. I am NOT a legal or financial expert. There are many CAG members and site team who are better qualified. Please do not make major decisions based on my advice alone.I do not give advice via P.M's. If anyone can correct my mistakes or improve on my advice, please do.
Than kyou for your reply, I'm with Lloyds TSB, they are a functionment that I would qualify of dodgy, and thingd are oftren delayed... But here this charges to me come from nowhere!!!
What can I do?
If you go overdrawn the bank will charge you. These charges are unlawful under English law, and we on this site have been claiming them back. Have you called Lloyds, and asked them as a goodwill gesture to refund the charges?
If they then refuse to give back the money taken from your account, then you will have to write to them. Is this the first time you have had charges?
