Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I wonder if anyone can help me?
I have just got hold of my last six years worth of statements. I am not sure which charges i can actually reclaim.
There are the following typical charges through the months;
O/Draft Interest £6.42
Account charges £4.00 overdraft Usage Fee £20.00
Unpaid DD £85.00
Overdraft Excess Fee £60.00
I need to no write back to them to ask that they pay back the unfair charges, but am unsure which ones apply. Obviously the Overdrft Excess fees apply, but can i ask for any others or is that a stupid question!!
I offer help and advice in good faith, based on my knowledge and experience. I am NOT a legal or financial expert. There are many CAG members and site team who are better qualified. Please do not make major decisions based on my advice alone.I do not give advice via P.M's. If anyone can correct my mistakes or improve on my advice, please do.
