Hi baslow
It should show up on your credit card statements. If you haven't got them, send Cap 1 an SAR.

Re: How do you calculate PPI on a credit card account?
I can only assume that although it was ticked on my application form ( not by me I hasten to add) that they didnt actually enrol me on it as when doing my schedule 1 spreadsheets there was nothing indicating protection payments
Re: How do you calculate PPI on a credit card account?
On my Statements it did say payment protection payments. If this is not ticked by you, and i believe you have an application form only, you should claim it all back with Compounded interest.

But the questiuon was, how does he know how much he paid? Surely, if it is not on the statements, the answer could very well be, nothing.

Re: How do you calculate PPI on a credit card account?
All of the statements i have seen quite clearly say "Protection Insurance" and the cost that month. If it is'nt there, then i don't think Baslow is paying any.
They have a PPI dept on a different phone number to the ones on their paperwork and website. I will post later as i am at work.
This has only come to light by myself yesterday. I spent 3 hours on the phone talking to this lot about PPI. The underwriter is AXA insurance, so they are next on my list to get in touch with.
