Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi
Is there anyone I can either publicly or privately email/send via scan/retype terms and conditions to?
I need someone to clarify a few points on a contract re direct debit access and methods of payment.
Otherwise could someone assist with these questions.
1. Is it legal to re/present a direct debit...
a. twice/more in the same month if it doesn't pay?
b. pay a direct debit on a different date to what signed for?
2. Is it legal for a company to insist that direct debit is the only accepted form of payment?
Is it legal to make a charge for a cancelled direct debit if misused?
(as above)
Just need to clarify these points before sending a letter...
Thanks G x
