    Default My Wife v RBS

I have followed the procedure and sent the lbaicon to RBSicon on behalf of my wife.

She received a nice letter from them yesterday saying that they are sorry that she is disappointed with the charges but consider them fair. It went on to say how they have read the OFT report and intend to challenge it.

They finished by saying that as a goodwill gestureicon they are prepared to refund £192.00 in Full and finalicon settlement of her claim. Her claim is for £497.57

The 14 days are up so shall I issue the money claim form

Yes, you should claim now. You can accept the payment, if you wish, as part payment as long as you make it very clear it is not in Full and finalicon settlement of your claim.
    Good luck.

    Pam.

Thanks I will get the claim underway.

Don't think the bank will pay their offer as they included a letter which needed signing in Full and finalicon settlement.
