Thread: My Wife v RBS

I have followed the procedure and sent the lba to RBS on behalf of my wife.

She received a nice letter from them yesterday saying that they are sorry that she is disappointed with the charges but consider them fair. It went on to say how they have read the OFT report and intend to challenge it.

They finished by saying that as a goodwill gesture they are prepared to refund £192.00 in Full and final settlement of her claim. Her claim is for £497.57

The 14 days are up so shall I issue the money claim form

Don't think the bank will pay their offer as they included a letter which needed signing in Full and final settlement.
