After months of Barclaycard failing to provide all the statements I wrote to them asking for refund of charges. They eventually provided a refund of charges back to the £12 limit which they believe is now their right. I did not take them to court but went directly to fos claiming for charges and interest I would have claimed at court. Barclaycard paid up in full including the interest . I found the process to be a lot less hassle than court and without cost. My court experiences have been less than satisfactory
The FOS have a whole team dealing with credit card charges and the time process was no longer than court. The money was credited back to my account immediately upon settlement

Made original complaint in August - offer of settlement received in October although this was delayed by postal strike. Barclaycard credited my account with amount of settlement c £600 immediately. A lot easier than court in my opinion if the claim is straightforward as to charges. fos have a dedicated team on this and it seems to me that the banks concede more quickly whereas in the court process they simply choose to delay and frustrate
