Hi everyone. can someone help. took a loan with hfc in 2004. loan for 7year term. i was given the impression that the PPI was necessary to get the loan and made to feel that thats how all loan application were(quite naive at time).no mention of the optional nature of PPI. also been checking lately and my PPI cover for sickness and disability is for 5yrs bearing in mind my loan is for 7yrs.if i were to suffer some unfortunate accident in the first year i will not be covered for a large portion of repayment. are these situations grounds for mis-selling.
It looks like you have a claim. If you were told the loan PPI was a condition of getting the loan, then you have been mis sold there. The is a guide here to have a read through.
