Well anyone up for some drinks one weekend in or around Southampton ?

depends on when it is but I am sure that some of us will be up (or down lol) for it

Well it would defiantly be down, as further south and you'll get wet feet

I'm up for it, but would need a rigid timetable as Southampton is at least a 4 hour drive!!

We DO have an international airport.

I'd love to think I might be able to make this. I'll be down around there over Xmas - flying down to that hangar that is the "international" airport and spending time with my sis in Havant (Pompey supporter - spit!).

When were you thinking?

I finish teaching on the 14th Dec - I was planning on flying down the following week. If that suits anybody else, I'm up for it. Otherwise I'll still be down south for a few days after Xmas, I think.

Is too close to xmas for me.
But after , maybe Jan should be OK

I'm still awaiting exam dates for January - as I have to be back to invigilate.

Will probably have to be back by 9.30 on the 8th - so, realistically, will have to fly back the Friday before that.

You must have a tiger in your tank if you can do it in 4 hours!

I've done Brighton to A-U-L (home) in 3 & 3/4 hrs without a break and without speeding before today Caro..!

Ah I thought you were a bit further north than that.

I'm thinking central Eastleigh pub.
