My car was obliterated by a reckless driver on private ground.

My car was written off as was an old car and repairs too much for value.

First offer from insurance unacceptable as not enough to buy replacement car (bought 5 weeks prior to accident)Have requested what it cost (fair enough?)

Awaiting a new offer but in the meantime despite promisig to write and not returning my email of yesterday the third parties car insurance people decide to cancel my hire car on a Friday night and go home without advising they are intending to do this.

I had already paid first weeks car hire until they agreed to take over payments - this has dragged on for weeks now.

I am owed £250 already in expenses as they agreed to reimburse without the car amount on top.

If I then have to continue the car hire privately am I legally entitled to be reimbursed as this seems very harsh as non fault accident.

Any advice anyone?

And how do I reclaim if it gets sticky?
