Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.

Thanks to everyone who answered Kelsie's question, they were mine too.
I just going to send my letter now too so fingers crossed. However, I have another daft question, when they say wait 40 days for a reply, is this working days or calendar days? If I send a cheque for the £10, who should I make the cheque out to.
I am just about to send my £10 with my first letter (DPA) off but wanted to ask a question. Who do I make the cheque payable to. I see from below to send it to the Data Protection Manager.
Please post any further questions in a thread of your own.

HELP NEEDED!!! hi everyone, i've got a bit of a problem, i hope someone can help! before i sent my first letter, i had to start a set up with cahoot, where i pay £45 a month out of my £800 overderaft, (mostly due to charges) this morning i got a letter saying i've failed to keep the terms of the conessionary overdraft, ( i know i havent) i phoned them and spoke to someone, who said a manager had stopped it but she didn't know why, but she put it back to normal, no questions asked, and said to ignore the letter, now £45 is due out of my account on the 1st july( as it was supposed be) but ive heard nothing in relation to my first letter, but they have oboiulsy got it! im a bit worried now,and unsure wot to do next, the manager obioulsy stopped the set up because of the access request letter, would it a bad idea to say that i want to stop paying them £45 a month untill the charges matter has been resolved? or shall i just leave it untill i hear from them again? anyone got any idea's, any help would be really appriciated!!!
