Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I wonder if someone could shed some light on this for me. I have recently claimed back the charges on my husbands Capital One card. I saw the programme on Friday about also claiming PPI. There is PPI on his capital one card but he can't remember what he agreed to and what he didn't. I think they probably asked if he wanted it or not and knowing him just said ok then.
Is there a way of finding out if they miss sold it to him and if so how? I have had a look around but can't seem to find the info I am looking for.
You should start by getting a copy of the original agreement. Over the last 7 years, we have seen Application forms being used as full credit agreements with Capital One. When you send in your CCA letter, enclose the fee of £1. When you receive it check to see if a tick has been put into the PPI box on the form. Also see if the agreement is enforcable.
