Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
This is my first time!!!! I'm hoping someone can guide me!
I'm at the start - I have recived my bank statements from A&L but a lot of my charges are where A&L have paid an item an then charged me. Can I claim these charges back as they haven't actully refused a DD or cheque?
I don't want to send of the claim and then find out that it's wrong!
I need some help again - on the overdraft interest!
I now get the principal of the interest calculations, my issue is that I use to get paid either on the date of or just before the date my statements were issued. This means that the balance on my account was usually in the black so when I enter the balance on the spreadsheet the interest is not calculated.
Can I just enter the amount I was overdrawn before I was paid or will the bank reject my claim as the information is not exect?
I have been reading for two days but haven't found any situation that is simalar!
I would like to send my prilim off - I don't want A&L to think that I don't know what I'm doing (although I'm not sure!! HAHAHAHA) because the information is not technically correct or should I just remove the overdraft interest as it only amounts to £10.29?
