This fiasco created one clean line of knowledge.

Basically banks rely on their deposit base for issuing new loans. The problem with Northern Rockicon was they were borrowing from other banks.

So how much money do the banks earn off retail (you and me)deposits which are then lent all over the shop.

They say they don't earn alot out of deposits, but that's gotta be them mixing up the accounts.

If N Rock were holding around 4billion and they aren't even classed in the top 10 of retail deposit holders, how much does Lloydsicon hold on their Current account 0.1% interesticon rate??

Being a bank is good, use other people's money and buy the world.
