Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
So far I have sent my data request and received my statements.
I then sent request for charges to be reimbursed, I have just received a letter from A&L acknowledging the complaint, blah blah, although they are not one of the banks in the test case, and will not be doing anything until the test case has been decided. If I choose to issue a claim they will ask for it to be stayed.
I now have a problem, I have had a hard disk crash and have lost my original documents. So cannot confirm dates and amounts that should be submitted in the lba. Also does the LBA have to be sent back within 14 days, as the letter I received from A&L was dated the 10 Oct, I have only just got my laptop back minus all the data.
