Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
Hi everyone, I raised a small claim against Capital One and Bank of Scotland. Capital One paid out almost immediately. Bank of Scotland are defending the claim on 29th October and at the same time have sent me the following
WATT for the defenders respectfully craves the Court to sist the action pending determination of the action raised in the High Court in London by the OFT against the Clydesdale Bank plc (and others) as a test case in relation to the legal issues which arise in this action.
I assume this is them asking for the case to be delayed?
Will i have to attend court for this one, as i really dont think i can i am just not confident enough and have read through loads of stuff and do understand it but cant claim under hardship as i have a ok paid job. Should i hire someone to attend court for me? I am just really concerned they will make me look like an idiot and try to trick me into revealing that i am not confident in my knowledge to stand up for myself.
The claim is for just under $700
