Hi, I had an agreement to pay off a debt I had on a Monument card.. I set up a standing order and have payed it every month since. Anyway back in August I received this letter from Barclaycard with a card number I've never owned so I called them up only to be told they transfered my monument card to this new number and scraped my payment agreement with them well this was the first I'd heard about this.. now they're calling me about 4-10 times a day for the past 2 months ..I don't asnwer the phone anymore as I have caller display..when I did talk to them last I asked them not to call me and to put it all in writing so the woman on the phone said "no and we'll continue to call" she then asked me my mobile number...I just laughed and put the phone down.. they're now demanding I double my payment and have started slapping on over £30 of charges each month.. they've also passed the debt to Mercers the phones still ringing every single day even on a Sunday morning... can anybody offer any advice on how to deal with these people
