Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
New to the forums, and although I've read a fair bit over the last couple of days there's 2 things I'm not totally sure on before I go and send my data request letter to the Royal.
1) Who to send it to?
Most people seem to be saying to send it to the branch - is this the best way to go?
2) How do I pay the £10 fee?
I'm presuming the best way is to send a cheque, but who exactly do I make this out to? Just Royal Bank of Scotland?
Same here, although the Branch (Rugby) claimed to have never recieved the letter/cheque and cancelled the cheque for me too (small but sweet victory to set the ball rolling!)
