Furthest I've been North is Manchester to see Jethro Tull! Tend to go to warmer climbs on me broom as gets stickitis easily.

Depends when it is, but I'm often up that way from Kent visiting family.

How about organising a meet either between christmas and new year (if people are up this way visiting family) or sometime early in the new year?

I take it Newcastle is the best place for it.

Ahhhhhhhhh, Newcastle. Last time I was camping there we were at the posh bit, Morpeth. New Year sounds good to this Brummie. Are you planning to make it right at the start of the year and are there any YHAs there?

I would like to make it quite early in the New Year. Yes there are definitely YHA's up here but not sure where yet. With most CAG gatherings people are generous enough to host visiting CAGers so if anyone has a spare room to let they may contact you via PM.

I have ended up on many a CAG floor (some have even been kind enough to lend me a bed)
