    Default Template letters for parking issues

    Are there any template letters avaiable for refunds etc... for clamping. I have serched the web and there are ones available however they require a £15 fee.

    Whay exactly are you requesting?

    Is this for clamping on private ground or by bailiffsicon etc representing local authorities.

    There is a big difference?

    Asking a company who clamped you for money back is not usually a going to be a success. If they didn't think you should be clamped they would not have clamped you in the first place or released you free.
    The best bet if you think the company was acting outside the law would be to sue in the small claims court for the money back.

    Surely it would be better to let the company know of your intention to take them to small claims court and at least give them a chance to respond to any allegations that they have acted unlawfully. They may even realise they have made a mistake and refund the charge once they are made aware of the incident! IMHO!

    I thought the OP would have already made an informal approach regarding the matter if not you are correct a quick letter just stating why you should not have been clamped will suffice.

    Judges in county courts take a very dim view of either part moving sxtaright to court without any attempt to settle first.

    So yes, a letter before actionicon should be sent
