Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
My boyfriend has already sucessfully got his bank charges back from Halifax.
Im with HSBC and thought I'd try to get my charges back. I sent off the first letter requesting my statemtns for the last 6 years and received a letter back about HSBC advising they are involved in legal proceddings with the office of fair trading. then included a print off of my 'overdraft realted charges and adjustments' and 'other related charges and adjustments'.
Has anyone else received this letter??
I think they are trying to scare me off but I wondered if anyone knows what I need to do next? Do i find my charges myself through my internet banking and proceed with asking for my money back as normal?
