    Default Re: Latest OFT consultation

"The consultation on measuring direct benefits to consumers sets out how the OFT proposes to assess performance against one of its key targets. The target is to deliver direct financial benefits to consumers of at least five times the amount the OFT costs taxpayers. Direct benefits to consumers from OFT actions include price decreases after remedying anti-competitive activity, but also improvements in quality or the benefits consumers gain from making better informed choices."

I can think of one thing they could hurry up and do to hit that target.............

TOTALLY agree - bl---y priceless - OFT is now going to calculate the cost of countless bureaurocrats producing countless pages of pure gobbledgook in order to justify their existence. Perhaps Local Government ought to undertake the same exercise!!!!!!!!!!!!

    All the best - Adam

I do my best to be helpful, but at the end of the day I'm not a professional - please seek further advice if you're not sure. On the other hand, if I have helped, please click my scales - thanks
