Written by John Kruse, one of the leading experts on Bailiff Law, this consumer friendly guide is essential reading for anyone who comes into contact with a bailiff.
The book is easy to understand and clearly explains the rights
a bailiff has, and also what they cannot do when collecting debts and repossessing goods etc.
I have prepared 2 claims for PPI with Citicard one for me and one for my Dad. I have a couple of point that I need clarity for though:
The cards were originally taken out with the Associates which has since become Citi however I dont know if this was a buy out or take over does anyone know if this affects the claims?
They have provided me with 6 years of statements but there is a carried forward balance - am I allowed to claim back the PPI further than 6 years and if so how do I get the data?
I picked up that the statutory interest applied (8%) and have applied it to each premium - is this correct?
Does anyone have any experience of Citi or any tips for that matter?
I also have a claim for DFS which is financed by Black horse - Do I go to the people that FORCED (DFS) the policy or Black Horse.
I do not have my finance agreements - will this present a problem? if I have to get them is there a cost?
